Help my hair straightener!!!?

My hair straightener has a lot of gunk like hairspray on it. How do I clean it off.

Try using soap and water and if this doesn't work use a little nail polish remover it also depends on what type of material is used in the making of the hair straightener.

Just get a Kleenex or wash cloth, and rub it off. Use a cleaner too if it's being stubborn. Make sure it's not on though when you do

Heat it up and then use something to scrape it off with but beareful because it will be hot

My hair stylist said to use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and the gunk will rub off. This really works!

While it is heated on high, with a thick towel or cloth, wipe the faces (plates) of the straightener. Don't put anything like water on the cloth just wipe it off but you have to make sure that your straightener is on high.

Try not to burn your fingers though.

Hope I Helped.
