separate the hair into smaller groups, this worked well for my daughter. she also did it while it was damp - that helped

It may take a while but just seperate it into small pieces and straighten a little at a time. that way u can have it all straight.

I layer my hair. I have long thick hair so I have to part it otherwise it gets poofy. I just take the top layer about middle of my head and clip that up and striahgten the bottom part. Sometimes I take halfd of waht I have left in the clip and striaghten that but most of the time I don't. It helps with the frizzyness.
