Does anyone know the best hair straightener for perfectly straight hair?

Well I have wavy, sorta poofy hair and I was wondering if anyone knew the best straightener I can use to get almost perfectly straight hair.

Conair has great straighteners. To test if a straightener is good or not, use a piece of silk to put between the irons. If the silk burns, it's a bad straightener. If the silk doesn't burn, it's a good one. ^^

i have really poofy curly hair!

when i straiten it (on high) it doesnt come out perfectly straight.

i think you only get perfectly straight hair if you naturally have perfectly straight hair. what might work though is getting it permanetly straightend? my friend has it and it looks really good.

use a hair dryer or permanently straighten it

Use hair straightners with ceramic plates because I heard that they damage your hair less than the others (ex. Chi). I have out of control, wavy hair and I use a Chi. My hair stays straight unless it gets in rain or something. Hair dryers won't ever straighten my hair either, just makes it less wavy.

Chi, or another ceramic plate flat-iron. Chi irons are pretty expensive, but work extremely well. I have naturally very poofy and curly hair, but my Chi works VERY well. A bit of advice, don't buy anything from Wal-Mart. Or Target. Go to a Sally Beauty Supply store, or talk to your hairdresser. (Regular ceramic irons are about 40 dollars. Go to Sally's for those.)
