Im in Brisbane, Australia...so i would prefer recommendations that I can purchase here.
So, what model is the straightener and how much did you pay?
The best hair straightener you've used?
Definately the CHI. yes its highly expensive, but it is extremely worth it. it heats up in less than 60 seconds. if you choose to get it.. get the 1'' not the two inch. that way it can get closer to the scalp. also, try to get it without the velvet. i find no use in the velvet. i have really thick hair, and it only takes me not even 15 minutes to straighten my hair. its fast. and your hair STAYS straight. so i highly recommend the CHI. it was the most useful/ best gift ive ever gotten. :):)

The best one i used is an iron. just make sure you put some vaseline or lotion in your hair and scalp so it doesnt over burn.

I use the Wet2Straight also. I got it for only $20. =)
It keeps my hair extremely straight for 2+days, even if you wear it up for a day. =) Theres no crease or anything!
My hair stays straight when I straighten it with the Wet2Dry longer than when I straighten it with CHI or a HerStyler.
I reccomend Wet2Dry

I don't know what brands you have there but I live in Ontario, Canada and I bought the brand BABY BLISS around $100. Not sure if you can find that there but you should look for one ceramic and that has a heat setting on it. Check out hair salons...sometimes you can buy them there!
