I use the Herstyler it is very expensive on their website (It is $200) but if you go to ebay like I did you can get it for $35. It works so good. I have had mine for about 1 year and it is just as good as new.

Yeah I use the wet2straight.. it's a good straightener but it still dries my hair out. It's kinda impossible to get around that espcially if you straighten it everyday.

I got one at Sally's Beauty Supply that works well (for under $50). The best one to get though is a Chi which is about $100 to $140. They sell them at beauty salons. Sometimes they have to order them for you but they are the best. They're more expensive but I think they have a lifetime guarantee...or at least they used to.

You should never iron wet hair, that is why wet 2 straight will fry your hair! That said, you can try beauty supply stores like Sally beauty supply or Ulta, if there is a sale you may be able to find something under $50 (there is a generic CHI brand). But anything you find at the drugstore is really going to damage your hair in the long run. No matter what price you pay, you should only buy irons with 100% ceramic plates or 100% tourmaline ceramic plates in addition to ionic technology, which is the only thing that won't strip your hair of moisture. Drugstore "ceramic" irons are really just metal plates with a thin ceramic coating, causing hot spots that damage hair. I know it seems like a lot of money to spend over $50 but this is your HAIR we're talking about here. Do you really want to skimp and risk your hair being fried and frizzy in the long term?
