Hair straightener help plz!!?

i have thick, wavy hair and i im thinking of getting the CHI Ceramic Flat Iron Turbo 2 inch to striaghten my hair. Is that the way to go? Or should I get the same brand but a dif type like the CHI Pro or something? Or should i just get a dif brand altogether? also what are some products I can use for before and/or after I striaghten my hair for a better look? thanks

CHI makes the best straighteners. Any one of theirs will be the right one to get. The most important thing you need to do for your hair is to protect it from the heat. There are many thermal protectants you can buy, either salon products or at your local grocery type store. These are ususally spray on, leave in products that you apply when you hair is clean and still wet. Also be sure to use the iron as directed. Don't let the iron "sit" too long on one protion of hair, that's when you see a lot of damage occur. Have fun!

I have a CHI i think it is 1 inch and I love it...There is a CHI serum that you could buy to put on your hair before you straighten it I have also used something called FRIZZ EASE i think john fredia makes it just make sure you put something on your hair before you put the iron to it to protect it...Hope that helps...

thats the best way to go. just make sure you use something to protect ur hair from brakage and heat
