Get a regular black Chi and some 44 Iron Guard(protectant spray) to go with it.
Chis cost about $120-130 and the protectant spray is about $14.

get the new straightner by conair
OMG I NeEd A hair STRaiGhtener!?
Ones with gold plates dont usually do that. But u should use sunsilk straighting cream. Apply some to damp hair but not too much or your hair will get realli oily. And just straightend it like that. And use the shampooo and conditioner if that doesnt work.

I use Chi Irons..No iron is really healthy for your hair..but when using heat guard products it helps, Chi is my favorite, Definantly worth the price!!=)I actually got my most recent one of of Ebay!

Well I use Infinity by Conair and its relaly good. It had ceramic plates so it doesnt damage your hair as much.. but of course no heat appliance can guarantee you that it will NOT give you any split ends..because heat on your hair damages your hair and since you use it everyday its going to damage it even more! I would consider tthat you stop straightening your hair everyday, get a hiar cut to get rid of the split ends, and use a smoothing serum b4 you straighten so you wil have less damage! Dont forget to deep condition once a week!

Use a CHI hair straightener... You can buy one from your hairdresser, professional hairdresser stores or amazon.ca. I just got a pink CHI and they are the best - won't damage your hair, and really quick to use.

Any flat iron with ceramic plates instead of metal will help, because the heat is more evenly distributed and less likely to concentrate in small places where it will burn your hair. You can get one at Sally's Beauty Supply or Target or wherever. Expect to spend at least forty dollars. However, that's only step one, this alone will not save your hair. You need a spray to protect your hair from your flat iron. I use Matrix Sleek Look Iron Smoother. It really does help. Also, if you don't already, take up a hard core conditioning regimen. Whenever you condition your hair, use something intense and leave it on for, like, twenty minutes. This will help to repair damage. But, honestly, if you're flat ironing your hair every day, you're going to damage your hair. All this stuff will help, but you still need to try to cut back on how often you flat iron. Put it in a pony tail overnight then just very quickly touch it up with the flat iron in the morning, and use a dry shampoo for your roots if they get greasy. If you can go three or even four days without washing your hair, and just touch it up rather than full on flat ironing, you'll damage it a lot less.

There's one called "CHI" and it's about 100.00 - 150.00. It's great, and doesn't pull your hair.

If you want to have nice hair, no breaking or pulling, and smooth friz free hair even in the rain and high humidity, get the Sedu. It's 125.00 but its worth every cent. I've had mine for a year, and its been my baby. http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_d1...
On the website you'll find pictures and reviews, you can also buy it. Good Luck !

use one with ceramic plates or whatever if you straighten every day. normal metal is a cheap alternative if you straighten every once in awhile
